Tanzania Agroforestry & Marine Conservation Organisation (TAMCO) is a community-rooted NGO based in Kilwa District, Lindi Region, and operating across Tanzania. Registered under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 (No. 8442), TAMCO was founded to address the dual challenges of environmental degradation and rural poverty by linking conservation with community development.
TAMCO has been actively working with communities to promote climate-smart solutions that secure both livelihoods and ecosystems β empowering youth and women to become active stewards of their environment while securing new income opportunities.
